Adventurers’ Guild

Call to Arms

The Empire has ruled with an iron fist since the last Faire. Harsh restrictions have gripped the land, freedoms have dwindled, and the people grow restless beneath the weight of imperial decree. Merchants find their trade taxed into ruin. Artisans’ craft is stifled by edict. Commoners whisper of the old ways — when kingdoms were built on courage and honour, not fear.

The time for whispers has passed.

A royal decree has gone out from the Princess herself: the Kingdom calls upon the adventurous and the brave to rise up, band together, and stand against the Empire. The fate of the realm will be decided not in shadowed halls, but on the open field — through strength of arms, cunning of mind, and the unbreakable spirit of the free.

But the Empire does not fall easily. Its forces are disciplined, well-equipped, and ruthless. Only those who train hard, fight smart, and stand united will carry the day.

Whose banner will fly at the end of the day?

Overview

The Adventurers’ Guild programme runs across both days of the Faire and is divided into two pillars:

Participation

Registration: Guests may sign up for the Adventurers’ Guild on the day or pre-register in advance. Stay tuned for details.

Ages: All ages welcome. Youth participants take part in the Fight-the-Knight activity. Adult participants (with signed waiver) may enter full wargames.

Training: Basic training is provided on-site by a Guild volunteer — covering LARP rules, safety, and combat calls before any engagement.

Equipment: Pre-registered guests may bring pre-approved personal LARP equipment (subject to inspection). On-the-day guests may have access to loaner equipment to participate.

Factions: Participants represent either the Kingdom of Azora or the Nitian Empire per activity. Scores accumulate across all wargame events throughout the day.

At the end of the day, the Princess shall name the victorious faction and crown the mightiest champion of the realm.

Important Documents

Before participating in wargames, all adult participants must review the rules and complete the waiver.
