Stolen Harvest Meadery

Stolen Harvest Meadery, nestled in Grovedale, Alberta, has swiftly become a beacon of excellence in the province’s mead-making community. Founded by Kristeva Dowling (the Mead Maiden) and Eric Erme (the Heavy Lifter), this small-batch meadery is deeply committed to sustainable practices and the art of crafting exceptional honey wines. Their dedication to quality and innovation has garnered significant acclaim. Notably, Stolen Harvest Meadery achieved remarkable success at the World Mead Challenge, securing three gold medals shortly after their launch in early 2020. Among their celebrated creations is the Saskatoon Berry Melomel, which earned a prestigious gold medal at the World Mead Challenge. This recognition underscores their passion for blending traditional mead-making techniques with local ingredients, resulting in unique and award-winning flavors. At the heart of their philosophy is a commitment to regenerative agriculture. By integrating practices such as using chickens and turkeys in their agricultural processes, they enhance soil health, leading to superior fruit and honey, which in turn translates into exceptional mead. Stolen Harvest Meadery’s rapid ascent in the mead industry is a testament to their unwavering dedication to quality, sustainability, and community engagement.
